A warm welcome to Ferryhill School, a fair, safe and happy place for your child.   With a school roll of around 400 children from at least 28 different nationalities, our school provides a stimulating and inclusive learning experience for Nursery through to Primary 7 children.

Built in 1877, our Victorian building includes 15 classrooms, two nursery rooms, a library, music room, and a gym hall. The school’s outdoor grounds include separate playground areas for the lower and upper stages as well as a contained nursery area along with a grass playing field attached to the school.

The area of Ferryhill itself, has a strong community identity with a definite “village” feel to it despite it being adjacent to the city centre.
